En3 helps HSBC Chennai commercial interiors to achieve LEED Platinum
En3 as sustainability consultants for HSBC Chennai have helped HSBC incorporate various green and sustainability measures and also achieve the LEED ID+C Platinum with the project achieving all the 87 points that it pursued. The project’s key sustainability achievements include a 43.2% reduction in lighting energy consumption, 1 45.72% reduction in HVAC energy consumption, use of Energy Star rated equipment equal to 83.2% of total rated power of all equipment installed onsite, 47.82% reduction in water use, use of green materials with recycled content, regionally extracted and manufactured and/or rapidly renewable, use of low VOC (volatile organic compounds) content paints, adhesives, sealants, carpet and composite wood products, and improved indoor environmental quality for all occupants. |
